Long COVID Physio executive board members published a commentary in BMJ Global Health. Our Chair Darren Brown and Disability & Rehabilitation Co-Director Dr Kelly O’Brien are the co-authors on this publication titled “Conceptualising Long COVID as an episodic health condition”. The authors propose that Long COVID should be conceptualised as an episodic illness, characterised by health-related challenges (or disability) that may be multidimensional, episodic and unpredictable in nature. The paper is open access, meaning it is freely available for anybody to read in full. The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), University of Toronto and BMJ Evidence Based Nursing have published a news or blogs on citing this publication.
