Pulitzer prize winning journalist Ed Yong has published in the Atlantic an article about healthcare workers living with Long COVID titled “Even Health-Care Workers With Long COVID Are Being Dismissed”. This article discusses how medical professionals are used to being believed, but as patients, they found that their expertise didn’t matter. Long COVID Physio executive board members featured in this article alongside many pioneering Long COVID advocates who are healthcare professionals. Our Education Co-Director Dr Daria Oller and Chair Darren Brown shared their experiences or being Physiotherapists living with Long COVID.

Ed Yong has also published other important works including “Long-Haulers are Fighting for their Future”. His works are pivotal and his critical allyship is appreciated.
